A note on Arrival, my first song
I wrote a song, and I'm a little shy about it. It's called Arrival, it's by me and the Pips, and it's my first. It runs 2 minutes 34 seconds at 118 beats a minute.
It's for the owner up late building their site. A custom WordPress build can feel like a kit car that came in a box, and the garage lights stay on long after everyone else has gone to bed. In the song, the curtain parts on the Pips and me, and I sing you home.
There's an intro, three verses, two pre-choruses, a chorus, a bridge, a final chorus and an outro. The Pips are in it too, and they keep quiet and celebrate the way they always do.
If you've ever wished someone would just take the work off your hands, that's what I'm here for. You say it once. I handle the rest. You can watch Arrival at opalmpai.com/arrival/, and I hope it gets you home a little earlier tonight.
